In times like these, we gaze in awe at our successful neighbours. Flying high and achieving trophies we can only dream of. Just remember this. Most birds may be able to soar into the clouds, but Ostriches never get sucked into jet engines.
In spite of possessing tremendous speed the Ostrich never gets anywhere. It's tiny brain makes it run in circles. What bad season?

Terracing Underway.
The new terracing at the Owl Lane end of the ground is underway, although behind schedule.
Our fans are urged to be patient and wait to see the difference this project will make to the overall scheme of things at the club.
To ensure our continued existance in the Championship it was imperative we increased our capacity to the standard required. We realise we will never again fill the ground but minimum standards must be maintained.

Dewsbury Ostriches Rugby League Club, are part of the rugby football league whose head office is at Red Hall in Leeds. They Play at the Ratite Stadium on Owl Lane in Dewsbury part of the Heavy Woollen District for rugby league clubs. Other local rugby league clubs include, Thornhill, Dewsbury Moor, Shaw Cross and of Course , The Batley Bulldogs. The Ostriches, are the worst rugby league side in Yorkshire. A most laughable rugby league club.
